Volunteers

Other than the manager and deputy, everyone
else is a volunteer, and very good they are too. We have about 37
volunteers, aged between 16 and 88. Some work morning or afternoon,
but others do 10 hours plus.
We are always after more volunteer to operate the till, even if it's just to give the till operator a break. We don't have many volunteers that can do all aspect of till operations, maybe you would be willing to learn
There are only a few volunteers that price the donated furniture, but maybe you've got what it takes. There is a full spec for selling furniture.
Bridal gowns can be very heavy, so the men and the fitter women lift then about, but when a bride to be come in for an appointment, they need female assistance. We need to cover all morning and afternoon shifts, Mon - Sat. Why not volunteer to help, it can be very satisfying.
Drivers Mate, for furniture collect and deliveries We have two volunteer van drivers, but not always someone to out with then. Basically a volunteer who can lift furniture, safe in people's homes, and polite with customers.
We need someone, maybe a student, studying management, to train to run the shop on Saturdays. This is to free Terri and Colin to do other jobs about ( like this website ) and work longer hours Mon - Fri. Full training will be given. ARE YOU UP FOR IT ?
